27 priests who have been ordained in the last ten years
for Scottish dioceses came to the college along with
Fr Andrew McKenzie, Director of Priests
for Scotland. The theme of the conference was "The
Spirituality of the Diocesan Priest", and the talks
were given by Mgr Tony Philpot, the spiritual director
the Venerable English College in Rome and a well-known
speaker and author on this topic. The imput from Fr
Tony was excellent and much appreciated by those who
came. The group also enjoyed a day out in Segovia, as
well as re-aquainting themselves with or getting to
know Salamanca - there was heavy fall of snow during
their stay, showing how wintry it can be in this part
of Spain. |
